The Rotary Club of Antigua has donated six bunk beds to the Sunshine Home for Girls, improving living conditions for 12 residents.

The donation, made possible with support from Townhouse Mega Store, is part of the Club’s continued efforts to uplift vulnerable youth.

President Sherrie-Ann Brazier said the initiative aligns with the Rotary’s mission to ensure children have “a safe and comfortable place to call home.”

Over the past year, the Club has contributed laptops, kitchen appliances and Christmas gifts to the home.

It also hosted a Vision Board Day for International Women’s Day, pairing girls with female Rotarians to explore future goals.

In collaboration with Koren Norton, the Club is launching a counselling programme focused on self-esteem, empowerment, conflict resolution and mental health.

Funds for such initiatives are raised through donations and the Club’s annual Colours fete. This year’s event, _Colours of the Wild Wild West_ , takes place on 19 July at Coolidge Cricket Grounds.
