AT&LU Secures Major Gains for Interlinc Line Staff in New Collective Agreement

The Antigua and Barbuda Trades & Labour Union welcomes the Labour Department’s certification of a collective agreement recently negotiated with Interlinc (Antigua) Limited, on behalf of the Line Staff. Deputy General Secretary of the AT&LU, Avelyn Watley lead the negotiations for the Union.

The collective agreement provides the employees with many enhanced terms and conditions of employment, above and beyond the minimum employment standards established by the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Code. Some of these enhanced terms and conditions include:

15 working days vacation leave from the first year of service instead of the usual 12 working days provided under the Labour Code;

10 days Paternity Leave with full pay;

5% wage increase.
