A public demonstration is being organised in Antigua and Barbuda following the death of 18-year-old Khaleel Simon, whose family and friends say his life was “tragically and maliciously snatched away” by those expected to protect him.

Simon, described as a teenager just beginning to “understand his purpose,” is at the centre of growing calls for accountability. A flyer circulating on social media urges citizens to gather outside Police Headquarters on Friday, 19 September at 3:00 pm in support of the family’s demand for justice.

The appeal highlights the grief and anger surrounding Simon’s death, framing it as part of a wider struggle for trust and transparency between communities and law enforcement. Organisers are asking the public to join them in “their cry for justice,” insisting that no family should endure such a loss at the hands of authority figures.

The case has already drawn widespread attention online, with the hashtag **#JusticeForKhaleelSimon** being shared to rally support.

Authorities have yet to respond publicly to the specific allegations raised in the campaign.
