Opposition Leader Jamale Pringle came under sharp criticism on the _Browne and Browne Show_ over his handling of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC), with panelists accusing him of staging the session for appearances rather than serious oversight.

One panelist said the meeting seemed designed for Pringle to “play to the gallery,” describing it as “a pageant and a presentation” instead of a substantive review of state finances. “He came with a set of questions … but clearly he was reading the questions without comprehending the underlying issues or the responses he was getting,” the panelist said.

Others noted that Pringle failed to ask follow-up questions and struggled with comprehension. “It really was his comprehension that was getting in the way,” one panelist remarked, likening his performance to “someone still trying to grapple with the alphabet”.

Callers to the program also joined the criticism. One described Pringle as having “a coconut head with cement in it” and questioned how someone who runs a business “cannot understand accounts and auditing”.
