Hezekiah Parker Jr. has been ordered to pay a $10,000 fine after pleading guilty to possession of cannabis.

The sentence was handed down on Monday, giving Parker one year to pay the fine or face a one-year prison term if he fails to do so.

The case stems from a June 1 police operation, during which officers executed a search warrant at Parker’s home. They reportedly found 127 grams of cannabis valued at $1,270, along with cash seized during the search.

Parker was arrested and later charged in connection with the discovery. He had been on bail since his arrest and entered a guilty plea before Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel last month.
