Police are investigating a report that a woman’s ex-boyfriend allegedly stole an $800 wig and $2,000 in cash from her apartment on St. John’s Street early Sunday morning.
Reports indicate that the incident occurred around 5 a.m. when the man, who is known to the victim, reportedly entered her home, took the items, and then left the scene.
Officers from the Criminal Investigations Department interviewed the complainant and conducted searches for both the suspect and the missing property, but neither has been found.
Investigations are continuing.
