Dale Emmanuel was sentenced to three years and one month in prison after being convicted of serious indecency involving a cognitively impaired 21-year-old woman.
Emmanuel, who is in his fifties, was found guilty by a nine-member jury for forcibly engaging in sexual acts with the victim, whose cognitive functioning was determined to be below that of a typical 12-year-old.
He was acquitted on a separate rape charge stemming from the same incident.
