Opposition Leader Jamale Pringle has dismissed claims made by Prime Minister Gaston Browne on the state-run ‘Alfa Nero Files’ program, which accused opposition members of colluding with foreign entities to damage the government’s reputation in the ongoing Alfa Nero controversy.

Speaking on Observer A.M., Pringle called the accusations “dishonesty and deflection,” arguing that if talking to investigators is considered treason, then members of the Prime Minister’s cabinet should be equally scrutinized, as they too were interviewed.

The Alfa Nero case remains a political flashpoint, with the government insisting the superyacht transaction was lawful and necessary, while questions of transparency and accountability continue to swirl.
