Missing Trinidadian Man Last Seen in Antigua

St. John’s, Antigua — Concern is mounting for 21-year-old Thomas Vasquez, a Trinidadian national who has been reported missing in Antigua.

Vasquez, who arrived in Antigua on Monday, April 14, was last seen the following morning between 9:00 and 10:00 AM. He was reportedly visiting the island after previously working at a bar in Dickenson Bay.

Described as soft-spoken and calm, Thomas is 6 feet tall, with black hair, brown eyes, and brown skin. He has a distinctive chipped front tooth. His clothing at the time of disappearance remains unknown.

His mother, Candy Jageshar, has made a public appeal on social media, expressing deep concern and asking for any information regarding her son’s whereabouts. “He just turned 21 in March,” she wrote. “Please, if anyone has seen him, come forward.”

Activist Bonita Williams also joined the appeal, describing Thomas as “very sweet and calm” and urging the public to share any details that might help locate him.

“Good night everyone, this is my son Thomas, he went back to Antigua on Monday 14th April and on Tuesday 15th April he was last seen. He just turned 21 years in March and is 6ft tall and dark brown in complexion. Please ppl of Antigua, please if anyone knows where Thomas is, please ask him to call his mom. This is a plea for help, please help me find my son. Today is 8 days since no one has seen or heard from him. Please share as much as u can — it will reach the correct person or persons.”
