Police in Antigua and Barbuda have made no arrests following an armed robbery and assault involving a well-known barber in Gray’s Farm.
The businessman, who is from the Spanish community, was reportedly leaving his workplace when several young men approached him and stole cash and personal belongings.
He was allegedly struck with a firearm and shots were fired during the incident, although he was not hit by the gunfire. He reportedly suffered bruising from the assault.
Police searched the area after the attack, but the suspects remain at large.
Investigations are continuing, and anyone with information is being urged to contact the police.
