    — The Central Board of Health (CBH) has emerged as the winner of the National Events Department’s Independence Business Decor Competition, recognising its creative display celebrating Antigua and Barbuda’s heritage and culture.

The competition formed part of activities marking Antigua and Barbuda’s 45th anniversary of independence.

In announcing the victory, CBH praised its employees for the teamwork, dedication and creativity that contributed to the winning display.

The organisation said staff members were involved in every stage of the project, from planning and preparation to construction, decorating and the final touches.

“This achievement would not have been possible without the hard work, commitment, teamwork, and enthusiasm of our amazing staff,” CBH said.

The board also congratulated the other departments and institutions that participated, commending their efforts to showcase the nation’s cultural heritage.

CBH described the victory as a collective achievement, thanking employees who contributed their time, talents, ideas and energy.

“This victory belongs to all of you,” the organisation said, adding that the competition demonstrated what could be accomplished through teamwork, creativity and a shared vision.

The board celebrated its achievement under the slogan, “One Team, One Vision, One Winning CBH!”

The other winners were National Solid Waste, 2nd and ECAB third.
