    Free Eye Screening Underway in St. John’s Rural East

    The Prime Minister’s Vision Initiative is now underway at the St. John’s Rural East Community Centre, with residents aged 40 and older invited to receive eye screening and, where eligible, free reading glasses.

    The Ministry of Health and the Environment reported that the initiative was off to a strong start in an update posted Tuesday.

    The programme is being carried out in collaboration with the ministry and RestoringVision. Residents in the eligible age group are encouraged to visit the centre and take advantage of the service.
