Shameka Casimir of Antigua has been recognized by Sagicor as its Advisor of the Quarter for the Eastern Caribbean for the second quarter of 2026.

The recognition highlights Casimir’s work as a financial advisor and her commitment to helping clients achieve financial security.

Featured in a Sagicor promotional publication, Casimir shared some of the qualities she believes young people need to succeed in the financial advisory profession.

She identified strong communication skills, discipline, resilience and a genuine desire to help others as essential attributes for aspiring advisors.

Casimir also emphasized the importance of trustworthiness, adaptability, continuous learning and delivering excellent customer service.

The recognition places Casimir in the spotlight within Sagicor’s Eastern Caribbean operations and highlights the contribution of Antiguan professionals to the regional financial services industry.

Casimir has previously received major recognition from Sagicor. In 2021, the company announced that she had won the President’s Trophy as its leading Advisor of the Year for 2020 in the Eastern Caribbean.

In her latest feature, Casimir encouraged young people interested in financial advisory careers to develop both professional skills and a commitment to serving others.

“Success as an advisor takes strong communication, discipline, resilience and a genuine desire to help others achieve financial security,” she said.

She added that successful advisors must be willing to learn, adapt to changing circumstances and remain committed to excellent service.
